Vacation over. Off to work.
As is customary, when I am transient at home (yes, not just "at home" as that would be misleading my mom), I don't update my blog. As much as I would want to, the whirlwind of family affairs just gets my hands full. So now that I'm off again, I am back!
The past weeks have been great. Lots of quality time with my parents (contrary to my prior assumption, I DID miss my mom's antics and my dad's OCD!), a new baby cousin, crash dieting & forced exercise ("hoping" to get rid of the winter fat I managed to accumulate without noticing, if that is possible!) and bonding with my sister! All these made me realize just how much I love my family around and this is quite easy to take for granted when you are living abroad. I like passing through home in between destinations-- I get to recharge on quality time to get me through another year or so.
So now, vacation is officially over (well, not really for another week of taking in the sights and sounds of New York City!) and I am soon back to work. Truth be told, I am looking forward. A new place, new everything-- this is what keeps me nomadic!
I am moving to New York and I'm thrilled!

i miss you darling. i broke up with jc almost a month ago. we're still friends and trying to fix things up, but i may need more time to heal myself. haaay... aral aral na lang muna. i didn't know you'd be in new york already. my parents are celebrating their 25th wedding anniv this october. i'd like for you to attend it, shempre pag pwede ka which is more difficult as you're not in the same region anymore. hahaha. love you!
