# 3 Best Thing in the World: GIRL TALK!

A close contender to chocolates & burning dollars on a pair of shoes, meeting up with amazing girlfriends for a whole lot of girl talk is always a sure attempt at a fabulous night!

This weekend left HK in a terribly gloomy atmosphere. Between the rain & the very dark heavens, there wasn't much left to do but meet for coffee & just lounge around. And that's what we did.. or we attmepted to do. Just a quiet cup of coffee somehwere. But lo & behold, people started calling & merging plans and before we know it.. we were marching our way to dinner with everybody-- with all the girls that is. We had some Asian food (well, Danielle's looked very "authentic"), some souffles & a lot of girl talk!

Sometimes, it is completely beyond all understanding how girls can talk about a seemingly trivial topic and keep on it for an hour or so (Mieke, thanks for pointing that out-- I fondly refer to it as "German" efficiency) you'd think we were discussing matters they do on the Six-Party Talks. Haha! But I am grateful as I am amazed for the wonders that a little Girl Talk can bring-- that wacky fun & comfort that are quite unlike anything else.

Sunday was even worse weather (Typhoon signal #3!) so it found all of us stranded in our respective flats. It has been quite a while since I spent a quiet Sunday around the apartment, just cleaning up & sorting my life out. Was good-- for a change. :)
